About Me!

The beginning

Born and raised in Atlanta, Georgia, I started dancing at the age of 3 and absolutely fell in love with it! I tried other activities like sports but didn’t like how I couldn’t be on stage in a sparkly costume with pretty hair and makeup. I continued taking classes and at the age of 8 joined the Heather Wayne’s Dance Company where I was able to work with amazing teachers and choreographers as well as go to competitions and conventions. This made me fall even more in love with dance and has helped shape me into the person I am today. I got opportunities to travel all over the country getting to perform and take classes.

I also fell in love with musical theatre!

I found a love for musical theatre after doing my first musical at the age of 9. I continued doing musical theatre growing up and got to be in shows like Annie, Catch Me If You Can, The Little Mermaid, The Addams Family, Aladdin, and Peter Pan. I also took acting classes as well as voice lessons to be an all around stronger performer. I competed vocal solos and monologues at Access Broadway and even won the highest scoring monologue at 13 years old in the 13-19 age division.

I knew that I wanted to continue dancing after high school and make a career out of it and found the perfect fit for my wants and desires. I attended Oklahoma City University where I majored in Dance Performance at The Ann Lacy School of American Dance and Entertainment. There, I was able to take classes like ballet, tap, jazz, theatre dance, precision line, pointe, acting, and voice lessons. I was also able to perform in the Star Dance Company, Pep Dancers, as well as the Rep Company! Within these performances, I have been in pieces of all different styles including lyrical, ballet, jazz, musical theatre, and hip hop!

What I love most about my school is that we get to learn about all of the different aspects and areas of the industry. I got to take ballet, tap, and jazz pedagogy, as well as costume lab, production 1 and 2, and contracts. I’ve loved getting to take these classes and now have so much more knowledge!

I officially graduated December of 2024 with a Bachelor’s of Performing Arts in Dance Performance.

Alpha Phi!

I knew going to college that I wanted to be surrounded by genuine, strong people, and luckily I found that within the chapter of Alpha Phi at my school! I was a member from fall of 2021 to fall of 2024, and served as the Chapter’s Chaplain and Recording Secretary. I met some of my closest friends that I will call sisters for life! I was also able to help support our philanthropic cause which is women’s heart health.
